American Pressure awarded the Helen Keller Award
Posted by American Pressure on 25th Sep 2024
American Pressure proudly supports the Maple Grove Lions Corn Feed by donating four Arctic Steamers each year, providing delicious corn to thousands of festival-goers. Our dedicated team member, Josiah Hagemann was honored with the prestigious Helen Keller Award from the Lions Club, recognizing his invaluable contributions. The event has raised significant funds for the Lions Children's Eye Clinic, helping restore sight to those in need. We are honored to receive this award from the Maple Grove Lions Club, reflecting our commitment to community service and making a difference!
The Maple Grove Lions Club was chartered in 1963, and is a member of Lions International, a service organization with more than 1.4 million members in 43,000 clubs in over 185 countries. Lions is the largest service organization in the world!
Helen Keller Awards are given to honor those who have distinguished themselves on behalf of sight. They are an excellent way to honor a Lion, Lioness, non-Lion individual, business, or organization. A $1,000 donation to the Minnesota Lions Vision Foundation (for Lions Gift of Sight, the Lions Children’s Eye Clinic, the MAC Center, the Minnesota Lions Eye Surgery Center, or other Vision Foundation projects) allows the donor to present a Helen Keller Award. The award recipient receives a beautiful plaque and pin, and the recipient’s name is displayed on a Helen Keller board in the University of Minnesota’s Eye Clinic. Both the donor and the recipient have the satisfaction of supporting worthwhile Lions projects.
Congratulations to Josiah, American Pressure, Maple Grove Lions and everyone involved in this heartfelt cause.
